Beginning May 1, members may participate in one of our fitness
classes, use our fitness facility or work with their own trainer in the workout facility or on the Equestrian lawn. In our Fitness Center, members may use top-notch fitness equipment and free weights that
allow you to focus on each body part. Cardio equipment is also available
including treadmills, elliptical machines and a stationary bicycle.
Members are encouraged to use the facility at their own convenience to
reach their training and fitness goals.Fitness Classes
Fairbanks Ranch fitness classes are designed to increase overall body conditioning, flexibility and core strength for golfers, tennis players and anyone wanting the energy and strength to enjoy life. Enhancement of sports performance is key, and even more important is the ability to move all daily activities with mindfulness, healthy nutrition, fewer injuries and less muscle soreness. GENTLE YOGA, Level 1
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays -- 8:00-8:55 amA gentle yet dynamic class, combining Yoga postures, conscious breathing, and correct alignment that will promote development of increased strength, balance, flexibility, core strength, better focus and inner calm needed for tennis, golf, and daily lifestyle activities.
MAT PILATES, Level 1
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays -- 9:00-9:55 am
Precise Pilates mat exercises specifically designed to improve posture,
core strength and mobility by identifying and re-patterning underlying
imbalances in the body. Classes will enhance release of muscle
stiffness, decrease pain, and improve overall golf and tennis
performance and vitality like never before.
STRETCH & FLEXIBILITY
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays -- 10:45-11:30 am
Specific stretching exercises are ideal for tennis players and golfers, walkers, and to alleviate general muscle stiffness. Exercises will promote lengthening lean muscles, increase muscle flexibility and movement patterns, and enhance core strength for quicker
re-generation and recovery of sore muscles. Use of balls and bands may
be used for myofascial release.

Suzanne
grew up in Southern California and graduated from SDSU, with a BA
degree in Recreation Therapy. She worked for 15 years as a Certified
Recreation Therapist at Mesa Vista Hospital. Suzanne holds a UC San
Diego Certificate in Fitness and Exercise Science. She is an ACE
Certified Personal Trainer, and a faculty member at UCSD Extension, and
SDSU as an Internship Coordinator. In her free time, Suzanne plays in a women’s doubles tennis league.

Formerly head of the Therapeutic Exercise Department at Rancho La Puerta, Nancy is excited to bring her 15 years experience as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Pilates Instructor (Stott and Physicalmind), and Holistic Lifestyle Coach to Fairbanks Ranch. Nancy specializes in creating precise programs to improve posture, core strength and mobility by identifying and re-patterning underlying imbalances in the body. | Kerryann grew up in Southern California, and learned Yoga and meditation as a teen. In the fitness industry for 15+ years, she's a Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, Fitness Instructor and Rehab Aide. Kerryann has worked with olympians, actors, musicians, pro athletes and autistic children. She teaches coast-to-coast at camps, workshops and teacher trainings. She's a 500-hour registered Yoga instructor and certified Indigo Yoga instructor for children. | ||||
